Sr. Solutions Architect (Databricks)

Location: London, United Kingdom; up to 60% travel to London offices and customer sites.

What you will do

• Advise complex enterprise customers on adopting the Databricks Data Intelligence and Lakehouse platforms.
• Develop customer engagement and platform adoption strategies with Account Executives, Solutions Architects, and technology specialists.
• Coach account teams and peers on positioning, adoption strategies, and execution.
• Influence technical and executive stakeholders across cloud ecosystems and third-party applications.
• Design complex proofs of concept and provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs.
• Develop customer-facing content and lead workshops, seminars, and meetups.

Requirements

• Experience with complex customer interactions and technical pre-sales sales cycles.
• Technical background in data engineering, data warehousing, or machine learning and AI.
• Experience coding in Python or SQL and willingness to learn Apache Spark.
• Hands-on expertise with complex proofs of concept and public cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives while orchestrating teams.
• Ability to work autonomously with ambiguous requirements and challenging customer environments.
