Site Quality Manager (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead the development and implementation of site quality vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures.
• Implement the Quality Management System and ensure ongoing compliance across the site.
• Manage process controls through procedures, work instructions, and specifications.
• Perform root cause analysis, resolve quality problems, and identify business improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate internal, external, customer, and supplier quality audits, as well as product identification and traceability.
• Set department objectives and KPIs, manage performance reporting, and lead quality personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or manufacturing.
• At least seven years of progressive quality assurance experience in manufacturing and aerospace.
• At least three years of leadership experience, including managing people leaders.
• Strong problem-solving, team-building, planning, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing, customers, and suppliers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools and Minitab, including data analysis and interpretation.

Nice to have

• ERP experience, preferably SAP.
• Familiarity with AS9100, NADCAP, and aerospace Safety Management Systems.
• ASME or CNC machining experience.
• Experience working with the FAA, CAA, or another aerospace regulatory body.
• Additional Lean Manufacturing experience.
