Operations Associate Director (Manufacturing)

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; onsite

Base pay: $146,300–$271,700 per year, with potential annual incentives depending on the position.

What you will do

• Lead all aspects of the Hoffman manufacturing operation and site performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Cash.
• Implement the site strategic roadmap and embed Toyota Production System and Lean methodologies across complex production lines.
• Establish Daily Management Systems, visual factory standards, visual controls, standardized work audits, and real-time problem-solving practices.
• Deploy Poka-Yoke and Total Productive Maintenance initiatives to improve built-in quality, equipment availability, and autonomous maintenance.
• Lead and mentor four direct reports while collaborating with Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR on site strategy and SIOP execution.
• Develop talent, guide facility investments and equipment upgrades, and allocate resources to improve manufacturing efficiency.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in a large-scale, complex manufacturing environment, preferably with $100M+ revenue or high-volume facilities.
• Advanced expertise in Toyota Production System, Value Stream Mapping, Total Productive Maintenance, Poka-Yoke, Daily Management Systems, and 5S visual factory frameworks.
• Experience leading large, multi-layered teams and building cultures of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex supply chain dynamics, capacity planning, and changing customer demands.
• Strong executive communication skills and the ability to translate corporate strategy into data-driven operational plans.
