Sr. Platform Owner, Halo, Global (AI)

Location: Remote in the United States. Travel of up to 15% is expected and may increase over time.

Salary: $190,000–$200,000 base salary annually, plus bonus.

What you will do

• Own the health, performance, reliability, roadmap, and lifecycle of the Halo AI platform.
• Architect and maintain Azure infrastructure, AI model hosting, data pipelines, API gateways, and integration frameworks.
• Establish development standards, deployment patterns, CI/CD pipelines, developer toolkits, templates, and SDK components.
• Manage platform security, identity and access controls, encryption, data governance, compliance, monitoring, and audit logging.
• Review Accelerators team solutions, conduct load testing and disaster recovery exercises, and troubleshoot complex platform issues.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, manage platform vendors, and mentor the Platform Owner, Halo.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience leading enterprise AI programs, platforms, or technology initiatives.
• Extensive experience building, operating, and scaling cloud application platforms, particularly Azure App Services, Functions, Container Apps, AI Services, and infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of AI/ML deployment infrastructure, model hosting, inference optimization, vector databases, RAG architectures, and agentic frameworks.
• Strong software engineering skills in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript, with experience in CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containerization, and API design.
• Experience with enterprise security architecture, Azure AD/Entra ID, cloud compliance, platform lifecycle management, architecture decisions, and stakeholder communication.

Nice to have

• Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or AI-102.
• Experience with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, Azure OpenAI, and conversational AI platforms.
• Enthusiasm for AI-powered development tools and experience optimizing developer experience through documentation, tooling, and automation.
