Location: Remote within the United States; not eligible for hiring in the San Francisco Bay Area or Seattle area. Approximately 15% travel is expected for customer and team meetings.
Salary: $233,100–$304,600 per year, depending on location. The role may also include equity and a corporate bonus plan.

What you will do
- Define and drive the multi-quarter strategy and roadmap for foundational platform services and the Commerce Platform.
- Shift platform engineering from ticket-based support to proactive self-service through paved roads, service catalogs, developer portals, and documentation.
- Lead collaboration with product, engineering, architecture, security, and design to deliver scalable, compliant platform capabilities.
- Improve APIs, SDKs, sandbox environments, deployment systems, and developer tooling to reduce time-to-first-deploy and cognitive load.
- Establish KPI dashboards and governance to measure adoption, support deflection, reliability, and developer productivity.
- Translate customer and developer feedback into product priorities and advocate for customer-centric practices.
Requirements
- 12+ years of product management experience building large-scale cloud services platforms, including cloud-native commerce systems for usage-based and metered products.
- 10+ years of people management experience building, leading, recruiting, and retaining successful product management teams.
- Experience with mission-critical software services, commerce systems, customer outcomes, and data-driven product strategy.
- Strong technical fluency in cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes, microservices, CI/CD, and observability.
- Executive presence, strong communication, stakeholder influence, and the ability to drive organizational change.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
