Sr. Principal Product Manager (Developer Platform)

Location: Remote in the United States; not eligible for hiring in the Bay Area or Seattle area and outside California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, Washington D.C., and Washington State.

Salary: $233,100–$304,600 per year, depending on location.

What you will do

• Own the multi-quarter roadmap for foundational developer platform services, APIs, and infrastructure.
• Transform reactive, ticket-based platform support into proactive self-service experiences through paved roads, service catalogs, and developer portals.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Design to deliver extensible and compliant platform capabilities.
• Improve developer productivity through APIs, SDKs, sandbox environments, documentation, and reduced time-to-first-deploy.
• Define KPI dashboards and governance frameworks for adoption, reliability, support deflection, and developer feedback.
• Travel approximately 15% for customer and team relationship-building.

Requirements

• 12+ years of product management experience building large-scale cloud services platforms.
• Experience building cloud-native commerce systems for usage-based and metered products at very large scale.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes, microservices, CI/CD, observability, and platform engineering.
• Experience with developer portals, golden paths, self-service tooling, documentation-as-code, and developer experience design.
• Proven ability to drive organizational change, influence executives, define ambitious goals, and own customer and business outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
