Project Engineering Manager (Water/Wastewater)

Location: Irvine, Los Angeles, or San Marcos, California, US. Hybrid or flexible work options may be available after the first 90 days, subject to manager discretion, performance, and assignments. Travel to client sites is required. No visa sponsorship is available; relocation is eligible.

Salary: $126,423–$220,731 annually in California.

What you will do

• Lead multidisciplinary engineers and technicians on municipal water and wastewater projects.
• Prepare complex engineering deliverables, calculations, equipment recommendations, and technical solutions.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, quality requirements, and coordination across disciplines.
• Serve as the engineering lead and responsible charge for project delivery.
• Interface with clients, address concerns, manage project changes, and support business development activities.
• Mentor engineering staff, review work, and support performance and professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program or equivalent engineering experience.
• At least 5 years of related work experience.
• Active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer-of-record requirements where applicable.
• Previous engineering consulting experience and experience delivering multidisciplinary water treatment plant and wastewater treatment plant upgrades or expansions.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Ability to complete applicable background, drug screening, and motor vehicle checks.
