Manager, I&C Engineering (Nuclear)

Location: Remote work is available only within the contiguous United States, with national and local business travel as required.

Salary: Target base salary of $150,537–$181,683 annually; full base salary range of $134,964–$211,098 annually.

What you will do

• Lead and support a team of I&C engineers working on reactor plant and component solutions.
• Oversee engineering deliverables for instrumentation and control systems associated with the reactor coolant system and nuclear steam supply system.
• Lead system-level and detailed analyses for Module Protection and Plant Protection systems.
• Make technical decisions on analysis methodologies and the application of NRC licensing criteria.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects, design interfaces, clients, and external stakeholders.
• Develop team capabilities, training materials, R&D needs, and technical statements of work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field; a Professional Engineer license is preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in I&C engineering and/or engineering management for complex systems or power plants.
• Experience leading teams or managing engineering personnel, including staff from multiple disciplines.
• Strong technical writing, communication, presentation, organizational, and project management skills.
• Eligibility to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.
• Ability to travel nationally and locally as required.
