What you will do

• Lead, supervise, hire, train, and develop engineering and maintenance staff.
• Manage engineering operations for properties totaling 500,000 square feet or more.
• Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire and life safety, controls, energy management, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Conduct and review inspections, energy audits, technical surveys, compliance assessments, and building-system analyses.
• Develop operating and capital budgets, cost estimates, schedules, specifications, and maintenance service contracts.
• Coordinate contractors, tenant construction activities, rehabilitation projects, bidding, inspections, project documentation, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering experience with significant supervisory responsibility in a commercial property setting.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire and life safety, controls, and building systems.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent, plus vocational or technical training.
• Appropriate trade licenses or permits, such as a Journeyman or Master Electrician license, where required.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes, environmental regulations, project controls, EMS programming, fire alarm systems, and Building Management Systems.
• Ability to travel between properties, climb stairs, move between floors, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
