What you will do

• Act as the onsite first-line supervisor to operations and maintenance (O&M) staff.
• Manage and oversee building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to maintain equipment and reduce downtime.
• Remain on-call to respond to facility emergencies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Experience supervising building operations and maintenance for a federal facility of at least 500,000 square feet.
• Certification in NATE HVAC Service, HVAC Excellence Professional, or UA Star HVAC Mastery.
• Commitment to 16 hours of continuing education per year from recognized providers.
• Must be available onsite in a full-time capacity in Des Moines, IA.
