Cloud Engineer – UpaaS (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud): Executing scheduled upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities across Vantage Cloud platforms with an accent on high availability, controlled change execution, and operational excellence. Focus on validating production changes, troubleshooting upgrade issues, executing rollback procedures, and maintaining runbooks during customer maintenance windows.

What you will do
- Execute scheduled upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities across Vantage Cloud platforms on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Perform pre-checks, change execution, post-validation, rollback, and stabilization activities during approved maintenance windows.
- Support high-availability environments while minimizing disruption during planned production changes.
- Follow approved runbooks, change requests, authorization workflows, and documented operational safeguards.
- Troubleshoot upgrade issues and collaborate with SRE, Product Engineering, Change Management, Cloud Service Delivery, and Service Experience teams.
- Update runbooks and documentation, and contribute lessons learned from completed upgrades.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in cloud operations, system administration, or infrastructure support.
- Hands-on exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience executing production changes through maintenance windows and approval workflows.
- Familiarity with system upgrades, patching, lifecycle management, and ITIL or equivalent change management frameworks.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and execution skills, with willingness to work shifts, weekends, off-hours, and on-call coverage.
Nice to have
- AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems or database environments.
- ITIL certification or formal change management training.
