TL;DR
Cloud Edge & Connectivity Engineer (AWS/Cloud Networking): Designing and optimizing secure, scalable cloud networking solutions for enterprise adoption with an accent on multi-account, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments. Focus on automating infrastructure with Terraform and CloudFormation, implementing cloud security controls, and solving complex connectivity, performance, and availability challenges.
Location: Hybrid/remote role based in Heredia, Costa Rica

What you will do
- Design and support cloud networking solutions across multi-account, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
- Architect and manage VPCs, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Cloud WAN, Direct Connect, VPNs, load balancers, and related security controls.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code with CloudFormation, Terraform, and automation tools.
- Automate provisioning and lifecycle management through CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Troubleshoot network performance, availability, and connectivity issues while improving observability.
- Define networking standards and reference architectures while providing technical leadership and mentorship.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in network, cloud, or infrastructure engineering.
- 5+ years of experience designing and supporting enterprise cloud networking solutions.
- Strong AWS networking experience, including VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Direct Connect, Cloud WAN, VPN, security groups, and load balancers.
- Hands-on experience with CloudFormation or Terraform, automation, scripting, and Python.
- Strong knowledge of routing, DNS, TCP/IP, network segmentation, high availability, cloud security, and governance.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud automation.
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure or other cloud networking platforms.
- AWS or Azure professional networking and cloud certifications.
- Experience supporting multi-cloud environments and cloud transformation initiatives.
