Financial Controller (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own the month-end close process, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and core financial controls.
• Lead Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and financial control activities.
• Deliver revenue, operating expense, trend, risk, and performance analysis for Finance leadership.
• Support international expansion by coordinating finance workstreams for new entities, markets, and reporting requirements.
• Act as a finance owner for SAP and drive automation, process improvement, and finance transformation initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Cyprus-based financial control team.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong experience in Financial Control, Controllership, or Finance Operations within an international business.
• Proven ownership of month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, and core accounting controls.
• Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, revenue and cost analysis, and business performance reporting.
• Experience collaborating with Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and operational stakeholders across international operations.
• Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system and demonstrated finance team leadership.

• Experience in fintech, payments, technology, or another high-growth international business.
