Corporate Counsel (SaaS/AI)

What you will do

• Advise business teams on corporate, commercial, technology, regulatory, compliance, employment, privacy, data security, and operational matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage software, SaaS, AI, vendor, technology, data, licensing, confidentiality, and service agreements.
• Manage contract matters from intake and drafting through negotiation, stakeholder alignment, risk escalation, and execution.
• Maintain SEC corporate securities filings and support corporate transactions and non-U.S. subsidiary governance compliance.
• Develop legal templates, contract playbooks, clause libraries, approval workflows, intake processes, and scalable legal operations.
• Support disputes, outside counsel coordination, regulatory matters, and strategic initiatives for People, Product, and Business Development teams.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar and eligibility to practice in-house in the District of Columbia if not admitted there.
• 4+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong business judgment, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize material legal risks.
• Clear communication of complex legal concepts to non-lawyers and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with legal contract management software, such as Salesforce.
