TL;DR
Corporate Counsel (SaaS): Managing commercial contracts and providing legal guidance for a global cyber risk analytics platform with an accent on SaaS agreements, data privacy (GDPR), and AI regulation. Focus on drafting win/win agreements, optimizing legal processes for scale, and ensuring regulatory compliance across UK, EU, and US jurisdictions.
Location: Hybrid; must be based in London (office attendance required 2 days a week)
Salary: €90K – €110K

What you will do
- Draft, negotiate, and review SaaS agreements, professional services arrangements, and vendor contracts on a global scale.
- Develop strong relationships with counterparties to structure pragmatic and mutually beneficial agreements.
- Optimize contract templates and organizational procedures to facilitate efficient company scaling.
- Provide creative legal solutions to sales and marketing teams while maintaining strict regulatory compliance.
- Support the General Counsel in areas of corporate governance, HR, real estate, data privacy, and equity compensation.
Requirements
- Degree from a recognized law school and license to practice in the UK.
- 2+ years of post-qualified legal experience with a recognized technology company.
- At least 1 year of experience specifically focused on negotiating commercial SaaS agreements.
- Working proficiency with UK and EU GDPR and other relevant schemes such as DORA.
- Understanding of emerging regulatory schemes governing Artificial Intelligence (AI).
- Ability to work with a geographically diverse team across multiple time zones.
