What you will do

• Lead and develop a local team of Designers, Engineers, and Draftspeople through coaching, training, performance management, and resource allocation.
• Manage engineering projects, schedules, budgets, invoices, deadlines, and quality standards.
• Design or oversee formwork, shoring, and scaffolding solutions for construction projects.
• Direct structural analyses and review 2D and 3D drawings, calculations, material lists, and fabrication documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, Technical Sales Consultants, sub-consultants, stamping engineers, and other design professionals.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian and provincial building codes, safety requirements, the QMS, and the PPMP.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of structural engineering and/or construction exhirify.globalence, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Minimum 4 years of exhirify.globalence with structural analysis software.
• Exhirify.globalence with formwork design and strong knowledge of structural and architectural drawings and construction sequencing.
• In-depth knowledge of Canadian and provincial building codes.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or active progress toward obtaining it.
