What you will do

• Design new building structures as well as structural alterations, renovations, and additions to existing buildings.
• Perform calculations and computer modeling for steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures.
• Coordinate projects with Architectural, Electrical, and Mechanical consultants.
• Collaborate with engineers and drafting colleagues to assemble tender documents and reports.
• Perform site reviews and construction administration services during the construction phase.
• Respond to client requests for proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of structural engineering experience.
• Proficiency in design software such as ETABS, SAP 2000, RAM STEEL, and SAFE.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer with PEO is an asset.
