Project Manager – Structural Engineer (Structural Engineering)

Location: Hybrid in Ottawa, Ontario (3 days in-office, Monday and Friday from home)

Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 CAD per year

What you will do

• Manage structural projects through all stages from initial design to final completion.
• Prepare structural designs and oversee the production and quality control of structural documents.
• Develop cost estimates, specifications, and detailed contract documents.
• Coordinate project scheduling, budgeting, tendering, and proposal preparation.
• Conduct site inspections and condition assessments of existing structures.
• Provide technical support and site supervision for construction projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
• 2-5 years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle for frequent travel to client sites.
• Working knowledge of Ontario building codes and standards.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) license.
• Experience designing steel, concrete, wood, or masonry structures for buildings.
• Proficiency in French.
