What you will do

• Lead enterprise-wide cloud cost optimization and waste-reduction initiatives across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Drive rightsizing, storage optimization, commitment strategies, and other cost-reduction measures.
• Build cloud spend forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses in partnership with FP&A.
• Design and operationalize showback and chargeback models, tagging standards, governance policies, and guardrails.
• Implement cost anomaly detection, alerts, dashboards, and KPI reporting.
• Partner with Development, Product, Finance, Procurement, and leadership teams to improve cloud cost awareness and adoption of FinOps practices.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of FinOps or cloud financial management experience for Senior-level scope, or 12–15+ years for Principal-level scope.
• Hands-on experience managing multi-cloud spend across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Deep knowledge of cloud billing constructs, pricing, and optimization levers.
• Strong forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and analytical capabilities.
• Experience with cloud cost management platforms, advanced Excel, SQL, and/or BI tools.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, communicate with executives, and lead adoption of new processes.
