TL;DR

Finance Generalist (Finance): Driving financial strategy and operational rigor for a high-growth vertical software company with an accent on financial modeling, business visibility, and process automation. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to San Francisco or New York City for a hybrid schedule (3 days/week in-office).

Salary: $130,000 – $180,000

hirify.global is a fast-growing vertical software company rebuilding core HR, finance, and operations systems for the construction industry using AI and embedded payments.

What you will do

  • Build and maintain budgets, forecasts, and operating models to support company decision-making.
  • Manage procurement and vendor workflows while partnering with outsourced accounting.
  • Analyze marketing efficiency and hiring plans to provide actionable business insights.
  • Automate manual workflows and improve operational efficiency using AI and systems design.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to track KPIs and build self-serve reporting dashboards.
  • Support month-end close processes and ensure financial rigor across the organization.

Requirements

  • 2–6 years of experience in strategic finance, business operations, consulting, or analytics.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and ability to solve ambiguous business problems.
  • Experience working cross-functionally to build scalable workflows and processes.
  • Familiarity with business data, analytics tooling, and SQL or BI tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI and automation to improve operational efficiency.
  • Must be able to work from the San Francisco or New York City office 3 days per week.
