Test and Development Assembly Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Centennial, Colorado, United States; occasional travel to Cincinnati, Ohio

Salary: $35.00–$46.00 per hour

hirify.global develops and manufactures jet propulsion systems using additive manufacturing for unmanned aerial defense and other aerospace applications.

What you will do

• Assemble and disassemble engine components, modules, rigs, test-enabling systems, and facility systems for development testing.
• Install and integrate instrumentation such as thermocouples, pressure transducers, strain gauges, and accelerometers.
• Perform mechanical and electrical work in rigs and test cells, including cabling, piping, fittings, instrumentation termination, panel buildouts, and subsystem checkout.
• Support test procedures, troubleshooting, test operations, data capture, visualization, storage, and post-processing.
• Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, EHS, suppliers, and cross-functional teams on test systems, procurement, quality, and producibility.
• Lead root-cause and corrective-action efforts, document technical data, and improve assembly and testing processes.

Requirements

• At least four years of experience in aerospace, aviation, and/or gas turbine testing.
• Mechanical and/or electrical experience building rigs, gas turbines, or development test cells.
• Strong understanding of assembly processes, instrumentation integration, and testing new products and technologies.
• Strong oral and written communication, problem-solving, execution, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work as a self-starter in fast-paced, cross-functional testing environments.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Airframe & Powerplant certification.
• Experience with aviation gas turbines from a testing perspective.
