AI Tutor (Slovak)

Location: Remote worldwide, subject to legal eligibility, time-zone compatibility, and role-specific needs. US-based candidates cannot be hired in Wyoming or Illinois. No visa sponsorship is available. Full-time, part-time, and contractor arrangements may be offered depending on project needs.

Salary: US-based candidates receive $35–$45 per hour, equivalent to approximately $5,600–$7,200 per month based on 160 hours. International compensation details are provided during recruitment.

What you will do

• Annotate, label, record, and evaluate multilingual audio clips, voice recordings, speech samples, and auditory elements.
• Translate and localize UI copy, prompts, responses, and other content from English into Slovak.
• Curate audio data that represents pronunciation, intonation, rhythm, accents, cultural expressions, and professional recording standards.
• Evaluate speech accuracy across diverse accents, dialects, noisy recordings, and real-world audio conditions.
• Collaborate with technical staff to improve speech-processing tasks, annotation tools, and audio workflows.

Requirements

• Native Slovak proficiency with familiarity with diverse accents, dialects, or regional variations.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, including clear and natural vocal delivery for recordings.
• Strong auditory perception and the ability to identify pronunciation, intonation, rhythm, accent, and audio-quality differences.
• Experience transcribing, translating, localizing, or evaluating multilingual audio with high accuracy.
• Ability to make independent, consistent judgments on ambiguous, accented, or noisy speech and communicate feedback clearly.
• For personal-device work, use a Chromebook, macOS 11.0 or later, or Windows 10 or later.

Nice to have

• Background in linguistics, phonetics, phonology, sociolinguistics, speech sciences, cognitive science, or a related field.
• Experience with speech or audio datasets, annotation workflows, AI training data, or voice-model training.
• Professional voice experience, including voice acting, voice recording, podcasting, or audio production.
• Portfolio containing voice samples, annotated transcripts, or other audio-related work.
