Project Controller (Data Center Infrastructure)

Location: On-site in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. Employment eligibility requires authorization to work in the United States.

What you will do

• Partner with the Project Manager to translate schedule milestones, field progress, change orders, and project risks into cost tracking and financial reporting.
• Build standardized cost-tracking templates and dashboards, establish project budgets and cost codes, and maintain reconciliations across the active pipeline.
• Reconcile construction purchase orders against BOMs and budgets, explain variances, and maintain audit-ready links between materials, orders, receipts, and invoices.
• Track capital commitments and long-lead equipment procurement, including GPUs and critical infrastructure.
• Provide Treasury, Capital Markets, FP&A, Accounting, and executive leadership with spend, commitment, cash flow, covenant, CapEx, and variance reporting.
• Oversee job costs, CIP, fixed-asset capitalization, month-end and quarter-end close support, and internal-control improvements.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in construction accounting, financial controlling, or capital project management within construction.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP for job costing, fixed-asset capitalization, and milestone revenue or expense recognition.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP and RAMP or comparable procure-to-pay/AP software.
• Proactive, solution-oriented judgment with the ability to determine when leadership escalation is required.
• Exceptional organizational discipline when managing sensitive financial data at scale.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-growth capital infrastructure such as data centers, commercial real estate, energy, telecom, or large-scale construction.
• Experience working with Treasury and Capital Markets on debt or equity drawdown schedules.
