Mgr, Engineering (e-VM)

Location: Remote from anywhere in the United States, with the position based out of and reporting to the Minneapolis, Minnesota headquarters.

Salary: At least $214,053 per year.

What you will do

• Modernize transaction and payment capabilities through enterprise integration services and high-performing APIs.
• Define product strategy, MVP scope, product roadmaps, technology strategy, solution design, and payment architecture.
• Guide technical estimations and manage product budgets throughout design and development.
• Collaborate with digital, payment foundation, payment portal, cloud platform, infrastructure, and vendor teams.
• Define product OKRs, departmental metrics, and enterprise-wide engineering quality standards.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 8 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience.
• At least 3 years of experience managing teams and delivering cross-functional cloud-hosted products.
• At least 5 years of experience designing RESTful APIs and Java/J2EE applications using Spring and Spring Boot.
• At least 5 years of experience building CI/CD pipelines with SVN, Maven, and Jenkins, and working with AWS services including EKS, EC2, and Lambda.
• Experience with Next.js, Node.js, React, AngularJS, HTML5, microservices, OpenShift, Kafka, Redis, and serverless architectures.
• Extensive experience with MongoDB, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, Elasticsearch, mainframe data integration, Agile methodologies, and automated code-quality tooling.
