AI Tutor (Czech)

Location: Remote worldwide, subject to legal eligibility, time-zone compatibility, and role-specific needs. US-based candidates cannot be hired from Wyoming or Illinois. Visa sponsorship is not provided. Contractor schedules are flexible; projects may typically require at least 10 hours per week.

Salary: US-based candidates receive $35–$45 per hour, equivalent to approximately $5,600–$7,200 per month based on 160 hours.

What you will do

• Annotate, label, record, and curate multilingual audio clips, voice recordings, speech samples, and auditory elements.
• Translate and localize UI copy, prompts, responses, and other text from English into Czech.
• Evaluate pronunciation, accents, intonation, rhythm, stress, emotion, audio quality, and cultural vocal expressions.
• Transcribe speech accurately across diverse accents and varying recording quality.
• Collaborate with technical staff to improve speech modulation, noise handling, multilingual audio processing, and annotation tools.

Requirements

• Native Czech proficiency with exposure to diverse accents, dialects, or regional variations.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, including clear and natural pronunciation suitable for recordings.
• Strong auditory perception and the ability to identify speech, pronunciation, intonation, accent, and audio-quality nuances.
• Experience evaluating, transcribing, translating, or localizing multilingual audio and text with high accuracy.
• Ability to make independent, consistent judgments on ambiguous, noisy, or accented audio and communicate detailed feedback.
• Personal devices must be a Chromebook, Mac running macOS 11.0 or later, or Windows 10 or later.

Nice to have

• Background in linguistics, phonetics, phonology, sociolinguistics, speech sciences, or cognitive science.
• Experience with speech or audio datasets, annotation workflows, voice-model training, or AI training data.
• Professional voice experience, such as voice acting, voice recording, podcasting, or audio production.
• Portfolio containing voice samples, annotated transcripts, or other audio-related work.
