Multilingual Data Annotation Specialist (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with 2–3 days per week in the Marina del Rey office; locations include Marina del Rey, Chicago, and New York City, United States

What you will do

• Annotate and evaluate social media videos, images, and metadata using contextual category guidelines.
• Apply cultural nuance and sound judgment to complex and sensitive content.
• Interpret, apply, and help refine labeling frameworks, style guides, and documentation.
• Identify emerging trends, edge cases, and root causes affecting content quality.
• Provide insights for annotation-interface improvements and generate weekly quality reports.
• Perform quality assurance across multiple project pipelines while maintaining knowledge of company policies.

Requirements

• Professional experience in data annotation, content moderation, labeling, quality assurance, or policy enforcement.
• Fluency in English and Hindi is required.
• Strong cultural fluency and the ability to interpret contextual nuance across varied content formats.
• Familiarity with TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong written communication, and the ability to apply style guides consistently.
• Willingness to work a hybrid schedule with 2–3 days per week in the Marina del Rey office. Ability to handle confidential information and sensitive content, including political, religious, violent, and adult material.

Nice to have

• Fluency in Spanish, Mandarin, Turkish, Tagalog, or other additional languages.
• Familiarity with SQL.
