What you will do

• Process, audit, and reconcile high-volume participant payment expenses against study-specific travel policies.
• Create and maintain participant records, expense trackers, and customer reporting data.
• Compile sensitive banking information and enter weekly payments into the accounting system.
• Investigate and resolve payment issues, billing reconciliation questions, and data discrepancies with internal stakeholders.
• Support financial reporting, compliance escalations, and the rollout of new financial technologies and software.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a financial coordinator or similar role.
• Knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and proficiency with common business and reporting software.
• Strong written and oral communication, organization, prioritization, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive participant and financial information discreetly and comply with data privacy requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot payment processes, meet strict deadlines, and manage time-sensitive situations.

Nice to have

• Accounts Payable experience.
• CRM, SharePoint, and Smartsheet experience.
• Good Clinical Practice certification.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and AI-assisted technologies.
