Senior GL Accountant (SaaS)

Senior GL Accountant (SaaS): Managing general ledger accounting and financial reporting across software-related costs, prepaids, fixed assets, payables, leases, debt, investments, intercompany transactions, and payroll with an accent on accuracy, controls, and timely close execution. Focus on analyzing variances, resolving complex discrepancies, improving accounting processes, and applying AI-enabled tools to strengthen efficiency and scalability.

What you will do

• Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules across general ledger accounts.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including financial analysis, variance investigation, and reporting.
• Partner with FP&A, Payroll, PeopleOps, Legal, and other stakeholders to maintain accurate and timely financial information.
• Perform flux and variance analyses using data analytics and AI-enabled tools to identify trends and anomalies.
• Improve accounting processes, automation opportunities, and internal controls.
• Support audits, system implementations, special projects, and other accounting initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Hands-on ERP experience; NetSuite is preferred.
• U.S. work authorization without current or future employer sponsorship.

• Experience in high-growth SaaS environments.

• CPA certification.
