What you will do

• Execute complex account reconciliations and journal entries to close the books monthly.
• Review and provide coaching to staff accountants across AP, AR, and month-end reconciliations.
• Oversee revenue recording, ensuring accuracy in billing, deferred revenue, and recognition.
• Manage AP and AR workflows, resolving escalations and strengthening cash cycle controls.
• Prepare audit support schedules and draft variance explanations for KPMG.
• Collaborate with FP&A and cross-functional teams on monthly reporting packages.

Requirements

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle month-end close ownership.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and hands-on ERP experience.
• Must be based in and work on-site from the South Salt Lake, UT office.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite.
• SaaS or subscription revenue experience, specifically ASC 606.
• Active CPA license or currently pursuing one.
• Experience utilizing AI tools to automate accounting workflows.
• Experience mentoring junior accountants and supporting external audits.
