Manager, Software Engineering (Salesforce)

Location: Remote within the United States. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require current or future visa sponsorship.

Salary: $220,000–$240,000 in local currency, depending on experience and geographic location.

What you will do

• Lead and develop cross-functional engineering teams through mentorship, regular one-on-ones, hiring, feedback, and career pathing.
• Own day-to-day agile execution, sprint delivery, backlog priorities, and project completion.
• Provide hands-on technical mentorship, guide architecture decisions, set code quality standards, and participate in code reviews.
• Deliver and integrate services centered on Salesforce Sales Cloud and Health Cloud.
• Partner with Product, Design, Security, and Marketing to define vision, scope, priorities, and quality expectations.
• Improve engineering operations and monitor delivery, productivity, code quality, and team health metrics.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience and 2+ years of direct people leadership or engineering management experience.
• Strong technical experience with Python, React, TypeScript, Flask or FastAPI, Redux, NoSQL, and serverless architectures.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, including AWS, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• Ability to design scalable, supportable systems and make complex architectural decisions.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and experience partnering with product management.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer visa sponsorship.

• Experience delivering healthcare technology subject to HIPAA and SOC 2 requirements.
