Solutions Engineer - Enterprise (Data Center and Cloud)

Location: Remote position requiring residence in the Kansas City area, Missouri, United States; travel to company, partner, and customer events is required.

Salary: $160,000–$260,000 annual pay range, including base salary and bonus.

What you will do

• Evaluate customer data center environments and infrastructure technologies with account teams.
• Design and propose infrastructure solutions aligned with customer business objectives, needs, and budgets.
• Build technical relationships with OEMs and strategic partners while tracking product developments.
• Provide product training and technical education to sales teams and customers.
• Advise customers and collaborate with Field Account Executives, CIOs, IT Directors, and CTOs.
• Manage the solution practice pipeline, develop prospect strategies, and identify opportunities across data center, cloud, network, security, collaboration, and services.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of data center technologies, hybrid cloud, virtualization, and infrastructure solutions.
• Familiarity with hypervisors, containerization, software-defined data centers, and automation tools.
• Experience supporting pre-sales activities and communicating technical value to customers.
• Understanding of platforms such as Dell, HPE, Cisco, NetApp, Pure Storage, AWS, Azure, VMware, and Nutanix.
• Knowledge of data protection, disaster recovery, and high availability concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience and 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.

• Advanced certification in Dell Technologies, Cisco, VMware, NetApp, Pure Storage, HPE, Azure, AWS, Commvault, Rubrik, Cohesity, Veeam, or Nutanix.
