Location: Remote, with residence required in the Kansas City area; travel to SHI, partner, and customer events is required.

Salary: $160,000–$260,000 annually, including base salary and bonus.

What you will do

• Evaluate customer data center environments, infrastructure technologies, and business objectives with account teams.
• Design and present tailored infrastructure solutions across data center, cloud, network, security, collaboration, and services domains.
• Build technical relationships with OEMs and strategic partners while maintaining current product and platform knowledge.
• Advise customers and collaborate with Field Account Executives to identify technology opportunities and develop new business.
• Manage the solution practice pipeline and create strategies for priority prospects.
• Train sales teams and customers on products, services, technical selling, and technology trends.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar solutions engineering or pre-sales role.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience.
• Working knowledge of data center technologies, hybrid cloud, virtualization, infrastructure solutions, hypervisors, containerization, SDDC, and automation.
• Experience communicating technical value to customers and translating technical features into business outcomes.
• Understanding of data protection, disaster recovery, and high availability concepts.
• Must reside in the Kansas City area and be able to travel to SHI, partner, and customer events.

• Advanced certification in Dell Technologies, Cisco, VMware, NetApp, Pure Storage, HPE, Azure, AWS, Commvault, Rubrik, Cohesity, Veeam, or Nutanix.
