Systems Engineer (MFT)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States; in-office at least four days per week with one work-from-home day per week

Base salary: $114,500–$157,400 per year, plus potential variable compensation.

What you will do

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 operational support for enterprise managed file transfer platforms and production file transfer activities.
• Administer IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, Sterling Control Center, Connect:Direct, AWS Transfer Family, and AWS Multi-Region Access Point solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot secure transfer protocols, including SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, and Mailbox Browser Interface.
• Perform monitoring, alert management, capacity management, patching, health checks, maintenance, incident investigation, and root-cause analysis.
• Support disaster recovery exercises, resiliency testing, high-availability initiatives, certificate lifecycle management, and secure partner onboarding.
• Develop runbooks and monitoring standards while improving automation, self-service capabilities, onboarding, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7+ years of relevant engineering experience supporting production managed file transfer environments.
• Hands-on administration experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and Sterling Control Center.
• Experience with Connect:Direct, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, enterprise B2B integrations, certificates, PKI, TLS/SSL, SSH, and PGP encryption.
• Working knowledge of DMZ architectures, firewall policies, network routing, load balancers, DNS, and secure communication patterns.
• Experience with AWS Transfer Family, S3, and AWS Multi-Region Access Point solutions. Applicants must already have US work authorization and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
