Infrastructure Administrator

Location: USA - Remote; availability required during Arizona business hours (Mountain Standard Time) for meetings and collaboration.

Salary: $78,900–$108,450 annually, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Deploy, automate, monitor, and support enterprise physical and virtual infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, recommend improvements, and support high availability.
• Configure and troubleshoot application servers, storage, virtualization, networks, and related software.
• Handle firmware updates, hot fixes, software upgrades, patching, security updates, and asset management.
• Act as a technical escalation point and provide production support to internal customers, vendors, development groups, and IT staff.
• Participate in technology testing, change and incident management, documentation, and SDLC-related operational delivery.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience managing and supporting IT infrastructure in a mid-to-large-scale enterprise data center environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of server and storage hardware and protocols, including NFS and iSCSI.
• Scripting and automation experience with tools such as Perl, Bash, PHP, Puppet, Chef, or Salt.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, NetFlow, access-control lists, policy-based routing, firewalls, peering, and DNS.
• Basic security knowledge covering Active Directory, NTFS permissions, security auditing, user contexts, and application-layer vulnerabilities.

• Relevant technical certifications, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
