Director, Human Resources

TL;DR

Director, Human Resources (Strategic HR): Leading people strategy for entertainment and digital businesses with an accent on organizational design, executive coaching, talent planning, and workforce analytics. Focus on guiding organizational transformation, advising senior leaders on complex employee matters, and building scalable leadership and employee-experience practices.

Location: Hybrid role based in Universal City, California, with a minimum of three days per week onsite; travel and additional working hours may be required.

Salary: USD 130,000–165,000 yearly, plus annual bonus opportunity and eligibility for long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Act as a strategic HR partner to senior leaders across Entertainment and Digital Platforms & Ventures.
• Advise executives on organizational design, leadership effectiveness, employee relations, performance management, and complex people decisions.
• Lead talent reviews, succession planning, workforce planning, performance calibration, and organizational change initiatives.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Total Rewards, and HR Centers of Excellence on integrated people solutions.
• Use workforce analytics and business insights to inform decisions and evaluate HR programs.
• Lead, coach, and develop an HR Coordinator while promoting operational excellence and a consistent employee experience.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including HR Business Partner experience supporting senior leaders.
• Demonstrated expertise in organizational design, talent management, leadership coaching, employee relations, workforce planning, change management, and organizational effectiveness.
• Strong business acumen, analytical capability, consulting, coaching, communication, and influencing skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and relevant professional experience.
• Ability to work from Universal City at least three days per week and travel or work additional hours as business needs require.
