TL;DR
Senior Patient Services Coordinator (Patient Services/Healthcare): Coordinating new patient onboarding, prescription intake, insurance verification, and therapy setup with an accent on patient communication, reimbursement processes, and HIPAA-compliant service delivery. Location: Chesterfield, Missouri, USA; onsite office environment. This role is eligible for hire in select U.S. locations.
Salary: USD 20.30–30.45 per hour

What you will do
- Serve as the first point of contact for new patients and manage communication throughout intake.
- Verify patient profiles, insurance information, prescriptions, referrals, and required documentation.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, caregivers, pharmacists, and nursing teams to arrange therapy and care services.
- Support benefit investigations, reimbursement explanations, financial assistance, and payment request processing.
- Educate patients about disease management programs and refer interested patients for participation.
- Maintain referral status updates and resolve unexpected issues to prevent interruptions in patient services.
Requirements
- GED or high school diploma with 5 years of experience, or an associate’s degree with 3 years of experience.
- Experience with reimbursement, pharmacy and medical benefit insurance coverage, pharmacy operations, and medical billing.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, including the ability to handle challenging patient interactions professionally.
- Ability to obtain state pharmacy technician registration according to program requirements.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work onsite in Chesterfield, Missouri, or another eligible U.S. location.
