Purchasing Agent (Supply Chain)

Location: St. Paul, Minnesota, USA; hybrid schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Salary: $29.00–$35.00 per hour

What you will do

• Create and manage purchase orders in ERP systems.
• Monitor inventory and support replenishment planning.
• Coordinate supplier pricing, lead times, delivery schedules, and order status.
• Resolve supply and delivery issues while maintaining continuity of supply.
• Maintain procurement and supplier records and support supplier performance reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams and ensure compliance with purchasing policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least one year of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and business software systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of procurement or purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of sourcing, inventory management, and supplier performance metrics.
• APICS, ISM, or another relevant supply chain certification.
