What you will do

• Lead and develop high-performing Payments and Fraud Operations teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Own the end-to-end payments lifecycle to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for customers.
• Maintain full compliance with AML industry standards and fortify protections against fraudulent activity.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to prioritize AI and automation investments to reduce manual effort and strengthen controls.
• Serve as the senior voice on payments operations and fraud risk in executive decision-making.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in payments, fraud, or related financial operations.
• At least 5 years of experience leading teams in high-growth, regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of payment rails, reconciliation, and financial risk management practices.
• Deep understanding of AML compliance, fraud prevention, and customer due diligence frameworks.
• Proven track record of applying AI and automation to scale operational functions.
• Must be based in New York City (NYC).
