Vice President, Financial Reporting (Finance)

What you will do

• Oversee internal and external reporting, specifically SEC filings such as 10-Q, 10-K, S-11, and 8-K.
• Review and analyze filings for accuracy and completeness according to US GAAP and Regulations S-K and S-X.
• Prepare quarterly and annual results for the CFO, disclosure committee, and audit committee.
• Facilitate and manage the quarterly review and annual audit process, maintaining regular communication with auditors.
• Review Investor Relations materials and support the Sales team with due diligence requests.
• Serve as a technical accounting resource for non-recurring and unusual transactions and new accounting pronouncements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of work experience, including a background in public accounting or Big 4.
• Expert knowledge of US GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley, and SEC compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• CPA certification is required.
• Must be based in New York, NY.
