What you will do
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary pod of frontend, backend, and full-stack engineers.
- Own the end-to-end execution of key product initiatives from scoping through delivery and iteration.
- Partner with Product and Design on roadmap planning, prioritization, and technical tradeoffs.
- Provide technical leadership through architectural discussions and design reviews to unblock engineers.
- Establish strong engineering fundamentals, including clear documentation, observability, and testing.
- Foster a culture of ownership, velocity, and clear cross-functional communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience and 2–5+ years of people management experience.
- Proven success leading multidisciplinary engineering teams (frontend + backend).
- Strong product engineering background with experience shipping user-facing workflows.
- AI fluency: baseline expectation to use AI to accelerate workflows and solve problems.
- Location: Must be based in North America.

- Experience scaling or evolving product engineering pods.
- Background in B2B or enterprise software.
- Experience with data-rich, workflow-heavy, or real-time products.
- Familiarity with event-driven systems or complex integrations.
