TL;DR
IT Specialist II (macOS/MDM): Supporting and improving the hardware, software, identity, access, networking, and workplace technology used across , with an accent on reliable employee support and secure IT operations. Focus on troubleshooting complex issues, automating service workflows, maintaining Toronto office technology, and leading smaller IT projects.
Location: Hybrid in downtown Toronto, with on-site work required at least 3 days per week, typically Tuesday through Thursday.
Salary: CAD 90,000–110,000 annually; typical starting salary is CAD 100,000.

What you will do
- Provide day-to-day support across hardware, software, identity, access, connectivity, and workplace technology.
- Own and resolve IT support tickets, escalating issues appropriately and identifying recurring problems.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning, access changes, laptop setup, and first-day readiness.
- Procure, configure, deploy, track, and maintain laptops, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
- Support Toronto office technology, including meeting rooms, video conferencing, displays, networking, and shared workplace systems.
- Maintain documentation and asset records, automate routine tasks, and contribute to IT initiatives and cross-functional projects.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of IT support or IT operations experience in a business or corporate environment.
- Hands-on experience with MDM systems, identity and access management, ticketing systems, and collaboration tools.
- Professional experience supporting macOS and Apple hardware in a managed corporate environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, identity, networking, and connectivity issues independently.
- Understanding of SSO, MFA, access permissions, least privilege, and secure onboarding and offboarding.
- Availability to work on-site in downtown Toronto at least 3 days per week.
Nice to have
- Experience in startups, high-growth environments, or fintech.
- Experience creating automations for IT service delivery.
- Familiarity with zero-trust environments, endpoint security, office expansions, network deployments, or meeting-room installations.
- Experience leading smaller IT projects and working with Agile or Scrum delivery frameworks.
