Virtual Diagnostic Specialist (Diagnostics)

Location: Remote role eligible for hire in select U.S. locations; listed location is Denver, Colorado, USA.

Salary: USD 90,000–105,000 per year.

What you will do

• Educate healthcare providers on genetic testing, sponsored testing programs, available laboratories, and IRD gene panels.
• Identify educational needs among healthcare stakeholders and Genetic Testing Key Opinion Leaders.
• Engage healthcare providers, laboratories, advocacy organizations, and internal partners through virtual and phone-based channels.
• Collaborate compliantly with cross-functional teams to support U.S. diagnostic strategy development and implementation.
• Attend conferences, deliver diagnostic education, and provide insights that inform commercial and medical strategy.
• Support healthcare providers with test requisition best practices and follow-up resources from testing laboratories.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; a healthcare degree such as MS, RN, PA, PharmD, or PhD is strongly preferred.
• 3–4 years of experience in pharma, biotech, commercial, clinical/medical, or diagnostics environments.
• Strong virtual presentation, communication, influencing, and digital stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with CRM platforms, virtual meeting technologies, and digital engagement tools.
• Experience collaborating with KOLs, laboratories, and internal or external stakeholders.
• Diagnostic and scientific acumen with strategic thinking and operational capability.

Nice to have

• Experience in virtual customer engagement, inside sales, clinical support, diagnostics, or medical education.
• Experience with rare or ultra-rare diseases and a strong patient focus.
• Knowledge of ophthalmology.
