TL;DR
Technical Product Specialist - PAT Bio (Biotechnology/Technical Sales): Driving growth of the BioProfile FAST CDV Analyzer across North America through technical selling, customer evaluations, and complex sales management with an accent on automated cell counting technologies, scientific presentations, and opportunity development. Focus on coordinating demonstrations, handling objections, positioning against competitors, and supporting multiple territories through CRM forecasting and customer engagement.
Location: Remote across North America with required travel to customer sites, laboratories, and offices
Salary: $90,000–$140,000 per year, including variable compensation

What you will do
- Serve as the technical and commercial specialist for the BioProfile FAST CDV Analyzer across North America.
- Develop leads, sales opportunities, quotations, forecasts, and customer records throughout the sales cycle.
- Partner with Key Account Managers and Field Applications to deliver demonstrations, evaluations, and customer trials.
- Lead technical sales presentations, value-based messaging, objection handling, negotiations, and competitive positioning.
- Maintain demonstration and evaluation equipment and act as a central resource for sales, applications, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- Hands-on experience with automated cell counting systems and trypan blue dye-based cell counting technologies.
- Experience supporting or managing complex sales processes in biotechnology or biopharmaceutical markets.
- Strong presentation, communication, organization, technical demonstration, collaboration, and time-management skills.
- Experience with CRM tools and standard business software; ability to manage multiple opportunities and territories.
- Willingness to travel, hold a valid driver’s license, operate a motor vehicle, and transport equipment weighing up to approximately 25 pounds.

- Advanced scientific degree.
- Experience with Beckman Coulter ViCell XR, ViCell BLU, or similar automated cell counters.
