Corporate Attorney (AI Governance)

Location: Hybrid position based at the Minneapolis, Minnesota headquarters, with in-person work approximately twice per week.

Salary: $135,400–$209,900 annual salary.

What you will do

• Prepare, review, negotiate, and update customer, vendor, purchasing, NDA, and data processing agreements.
• Own the privacy program, including CCPA, GDPR, cross-border data transfers, and emerging U.S. state privacy requirements.
• Lead AI governance by developing risk frameworks, acceptable-use standards, and guidance for generative and agentic AI systems.
• Advise Information Security, Technology, Product, Engineering, Procurement, and other teams on legal, privacy, data governance, and incident response matters.
• Build and refine AI-powered tools for contract review and negotiation.
• Support strategic transactions, M&A integration, and special projects for the General Counsel.

Requirements

• J.D. and active Minnesota license to practice law required.
• 7+ years of in-house and/or law firm experience.
• Knowledge of contract, privacy, data protection, and corporate law, including CCPA, GDPR, and data processing agreements.
• Familiarity with AI governance and legal issues involving generative and agentic AI.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organization, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office; Salesforce, CLM platforms, AI-powered contract tools, privacy program management tools, and SaaS contracts are preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience negotiating SaaS contracts and data processing agreements.
• Experience with Salesforce.com, contract lifecycle management platforms, and AI-powered contract review tools.
• Experience with privacy program management tools.
• Prior customer service or project management experience.
