Onsite Studio, Live Events & Break Fix Technician (AV): Supporting and operating studio, auditorium, meeting-room, and enterprise live-event systems with an accent on broadcast-quality production, audio mixing, video switching, lighting, and hybrid event technology. Focus on preparing and executing complex live events, troubleshooting production systems under tight deadlines, and delivering reliable executive and corporate communications.
Location: Fully onsite in Wilmington, Delaware, USA. The normal schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with flexibility required for early-morning and evening live events.
Salary: $35–$41 per hour.

What you will do
- Support live, hybrid, and recorded corporate events, executive presentations, studio productions, and employee communications.
- Operate and maintain professional camera, audio, lighting, video-switching, streaming, recording, and AV-over-IP systems.
- Plan events with the client’s Meetings and Events Team, including technical requirements, pre-event testing, live execution, and post-event breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot and maintain studio, auditorium, meeting-room, and event-space technology, coordinating break-fix resources as needed.
- Partner with Communications, Workplace Technology, Facilities, Security, external vendors, and event agencies to deliver productions.
- Maintain technical documentation and media assets and recommend improvements to workflows, standards, and event experiences.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience supporting live events, broadcast, film, or production environments, including AV-over-IP.
- Professional experience with production equipment, live streaming, recording, video switching, lighting, camera systems, PTZ cameras, and digital signal processing.
- Expertise with analogue and digital sound mixing desks, including Yamaha DM7 or TF1, wireless microphones, and corporate sound reinforcement.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and hybrid event technologies.
- Advanced troubleshooting and executive-level customer service skills.
- High school diploma or GED required; flexibility to support events outside the standard work schedule is essential.
Nice to have
- AVIXA CTS, Q-SYS, QSC, Blackmagic, ATEM, DANTE, audio DSP, networking, or client-relations certifications.
- Experience with Planar LED walls, Blackmagic and Extron switchers, video matrices, scalers, and HDBaseT extenders.
- Video editing, motion graphics, post-production, and AI-generated video production experience.
- Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Reaper, or Waves.
- Experience with ServiceNow ticketing systems, event scheduling, and resource management.
