Regional Diagnostic Director

Location: Remote, field-based, with eligibility limited to select U.S. locations; candidates should live close to a large airport hub. Extensive travel is required.

Salary: USD 230,000–250,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead and manage a U.S. team of Diagnostic Specialists focused on genetic testing education and sponsored testing programs.
• Develop diagnostic expertise and contribute to the U.S. diagnostic strategy across assigned therapeutic areas.
• Train, coach, and oversee field education initiatives, goal setting, performance standards, and team development.
• Collaborate compliantly with client, laboratory, medical, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Identify genetic testing Key Opinion Leaders and support educational outreach to healthcare professionals.
• Attend conferences, provide diagnostic training, and improve testing utilization and follow-up resources.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree required; a healthcare degree such as MS, RN, PA, PharmD, or PhD is strongly preferred.
• At least 10 years of pharma, biotech, clinical, medical, or diagnostics experience.
• Proven success leading teams and collaborating with KOLs, laboratories, and internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong diagnostic and scientific expertise, strategic thinking, operational capability, and experience in matrixed environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, persistence, resilience, ethical standards, and a patient-focused approach.
• Knowledge of rare or ultra-rare diseases and ophthalmology genetics is preferred.
