EHS Manager

Salary: $105,000–$130,000 per year, bonus eligible

What you will do

• Serve as the primary EHS advisor for NBCU Local and NBC News operating groups.
• Develop, implement, and improve health and safety programs and projects.
• Perform safety risk assessments, including assessments of high-risk operations.
• Advise personnel on technical EHS requirements and ensure compliance with OSHA and Cal/OSHA.
• Support EHS management system audits, audit closure, training assignment, and program updates.
• Analyze safety metrics, document work in Gensuite and Microsoft Office, and coordinate with contractors, vendors, and government agencies.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of EHS experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, engineering, chemistry, biology, or a related field.
• Understanding of OSHA and Cal/OSHA legislative structures.
• Experience developing and executing environmental health and safety programs and projects.
• Ability to influence stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, and communicate professionally in writing and verbally.
• Comfort with enterprise software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in EHS, engineering, chemistry, biology, or a related field.
• Certified Safety Professional or Certified Industrial Hygienist certification.
• Experience with Gensuite.
• One to five years of experience in media, entertainment, or film.
