What you will do

• Manage EHS compliance for manufacturing facilities in California and Georgia during business streamlining and consolidation.
• Build and maintain the EHS program structure for the new Charlotte facility from the ground up utilizing corporate policies.
• Implement EHS policies with a primary focus on High-Risk Operations (HRO).
• Develop and execute training programs for hazardous waste, stormwater, SPCC, and air permits.
• Lead incident and near-miss investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Manage hazardous and special waste profiling, storage, shipment, and product returns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in safety/environmental or a related field.
• 7-10+ years of experience in an EHS role within a chemical processing environment.
• 5+ years of experience managing OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and PSM regulations.
• 2+ years of project management experience.
• Ability to travel 30-50% initially to support other locations.
• Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs unassisted.
