What you will do

• Lead HSE program execution and promote zero-incident safety practices across major construction projects.
• Develop project-specific HSE plans, emergency procedures, and site safety protocols.
• Maintain a visible field presence, conduct safety observations, and review compliance across multi-trade sites.
• Review subcontractor Job Hazard Analyses, safety documentation, and operational readiness assessments.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and mentorship to supervisors and craft personnel.
• Lead incident notifications, root-cause investigations, injury management, and corrective-action programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HSE, occupational safety, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent education and construction experience.
• 5–10 years of progressive construction experience, including HSE support or safety responsibilities in a construction leadership role.
• At least one required certification: OSHA 30-Hour Construction, OSHA 510, CHST, or CSP.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence craft personnel, subcontractors, and project leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience with regulated, pharmaceutical, or mission-critical life sciences construction projects.
• Experience leading multi-contractor and multi-trade workforces through influence.
