Senior Safety Supervisor (Life Sciences Construction)

Location: Coraopolis, Pennsylvania 15108, United States; on-site field presence required.

Salary: $97,800 annually.

What you will do

• Lead HSE programs and promote zero-incident safety practices across major life sciences and high-tech construction projects.
• Provide technical guidance, training, regulatory interpretation, and governance oversight to project teams and contractors.
• Develop project-specific HSE plans, emergency response procedures, and site safety protocols.
• Maintain a visible on-site presence, conduct safety observations and multi-trade compliance reviews, and coach field personnel.
• Review subcontractor Job Hazard Analyses, safety documentation, and operational readiness assessments.
• Lead incident notifications, root-cause investigations, injury management, return-to-work activities, and corrective-action initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HSE, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant construction experience.
• 5–10 years of progressive construction industry experience, combining dedicated HSE/EHS experience on active construction sites and/or construction trade or craft leadership experience with formal safety responsibilities.
• At least one required certification: OSHA 30-Hour Construction, OSHA 510, CHST, or CSP.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence craft personnel, subcontractors, and project leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting regulated, pharmaceutical, or mission-critical life sciences construction projects.
• Experience leading through influence across multi-contractor and multi-trade workforces.
