Focus on managing concurrent technical programs, coordinating engineering and manufacturing teams, and delivering solutions for U.S. Navy, Department of Defense, and commercial maritime customers.
Location: Remote in the Washington, D.C. area, with domestic and international travel of up to 25% to customer locations, manufacturing facilities, test events, and operational sites.
Salary: $135,000–$160,000 annually, depending on experience.

What you will do
- Lead assigned programs through planning, development, manufacturing, testing, delivery, training, and sustainment.
- Act as the primary customer contact for program performance, schedules, risks, and deliverables.
- Develop master schedules, budgets, resource plans, execution strategies, and performance metrics.
- Coordinate engineering, production, quality, supply chain, operations, contracts, finance, and business development teams.
- Manage program risks, subcontractors, vendors, logistics, training, field service, and operational deployment.
- Lead program reviews, executive briefings, milestone assessments, proposals, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, program management, maritime studies, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of progressively responsible program or project management experience.
- Experience managing U.S. Government, Department of Defense, Navy, or maritime technology programs.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and complex technical programs.
- Strong knowledge of contract management, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or PMP certification.
- Experience with autonomous systems, unmanned underwater vehicles, autonomous surface vehicles, sensors, maritime robotics, or defense systems.
- Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, and U.S. Government contracting practices.
- Military service or direct experience supporting U.S. Navy programs.
- Experience working in an international matrix organization.
