Field Service Engineer, Imaging & Robotics (MedTech)

Location: Colorado, United States; on-site service at hospitals with national and possible international travel.

What you will do

• Install imaging and robotic medical equipment at customer hospitals according to approved procedures.
• Perform site acceptance testing, preventative maintenance, upgrades, repairs, and product updates.
• Diagnose customer-reported equipment issues and demonstrate resolved functionality to customer representatives.
• Coordinate service activities with internal and external customers and manage returned material authorization processing.
• Document installations, testing, customer visits, feedback, issues, complaints, and service outcomes.
• Travel on short notice across the assigned geography and potentially internationally to support deployed equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; a science or engineering degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of field service engineering experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
• Experience with X-ray systems, including general radiography, fluoroscopy, DR, or C-arms, is preferred.
• Experience with GMP and ISO standards and strong knowledge of healthcare capital equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with strong oral, written, and graphical communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, support small teams, access hospital settings, meet vendor requirements, and travel on short notice.

Nice to have

• Strong knowledge of quality or reliability engineering.
• Experience with general radiography, fluoroscopy, DR, or C-arm systems.
