Field Service Engineer (Spectroscopy)

Location: US-GA-Remote; must live in the Atlanta area. The territory covers Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi. The role involves on-site work at customer laboratories and 50% travel.

Salary: $43.12–$67.37 per hour, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.

What you will do

• Install and optimize hardware, software, networking products, and configurations at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues across company and multi-vendor laboratory systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and system implementation.
• Advise customers on maintenance and configurations that affect product performance.
• Deliver integrated solutions involving peripherals, communications, operating systems, and applications.
• Train field engineers and customers on supported solutions.

Requirements

• Live in the Atlanta area and support the assigned southeastern U.S. territory.
• Post-secondary degree in a science field such as chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or biotechnology, or an equivalent college degree with relevant work experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in a laboratory environment working with spectroscopy.
• Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Clear, respectful, and timely verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to travel and visit customers; travel expectation is 50%.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global LCMS or GCMS instruments.
